For example, if you create 5 challenges and set the limiter to 1, all five challenges will be against different users, assuming all five challenges are accepted. Conversely, if you create 5 challenges and set the limiter to unlimited, you could end up playing the same user in all five challenges, assuming one user accepted all five challenges.

Contest entry will close approximately one minute before the start of the first game in the contest. You can edit your full roster as many times as you like before the contest closes and begins. You can continue to edit and swap any player up until the start of their individual game time for NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, CFL, CFB, CBB, Soccer, EL, WNBA and XFL contests.
Players will lock at the start time of the contest for Golf, MMA, NASCAR, LoL, CS:GO and RL. Players will not be eligible to be swapped out once a contest begins.
What Happens If One Of My Players Doesn't Play Or Has Their Game Cancelled?
In the event that one of your players does not play, that player will receive 0 points.
What Happens If Users Tie In A Survivor Contest?
For each round of the contest, a percentage of entrants will be eliminated based on their scores in that round’s contest and the remaining entrants will continue on to the next round to compete. Each round, a user will have to draft a new set of players to continue to play. In the event a user does not draft his or her team for a given round, he or she will play with an empty team for that day, therefore forfeiting his or her position. Winners will be awarded Entry Tickets to the next round of the contest and the ticket will automatically redeem upon credit. Note: Our system currently automatically breaks up the cash value of tickets that are tied for and evenly distributes these among all tied contestants. In the event of a tie these credits will be reversed after the completion of the contest before entries to the next day are manually credited.
*Tiebreakers: If one or more entrants tie in any round, one tied entry per user will move on to the next round. This will then continue on to the second entry per user and so on until all of the spots are filled for the next round. In the event multiple users tie for the last spot in the next round, the tie will be broken based on the lineup with the highest scoring non-matching/individual player of the two lineups. For example, if Player A and Player B tied, and Player A’s best player was David Ortiz with 30 fantasy points, and Player B’s best player was Matt Kemp with 28 fantasy points, then player A would be judged the winner. In the event that both teams have the same best player, it will proceed down to the next highest player in each roster. In the event of two identical rosters, the user who entered the first round of the survivor contest the earliest will move on to the next round.

To Create a League, click here.
How do I create a recurring contest?
When creating a contest within a League, if the draft group you have selected is eligible to be a recurring contest, you will see the option populated at the bottom of the page.
How do recurring contests work?
If a contest is set to recurring and runs, the system automatically creates the contest for the next week and sends notifications to all league members. Here is when the contests are set to be posted during NFL season:
Thursday contests- 3 days prior (Monday afternoon/night)
Sunday contests- 4 days prior (Wednesday afternoon/night)
Monday contests- 2 days prior (Saturday afternoon/night)
If the contest does not run two consecutive times, the contest is cancelled. The commissioner can create a new contest within the League and resend the invitations.
Please note that Entry fees are only collected on individual entries when submitted, not in advance.
Can this be used to organize a season long league?
We do not offer season-long leagues in the traditional sense. However, it’s easy to use DraftKings to play your friends all season long. Simply create a League, invite your friends, and challenge them to contests within the league and follow along with the standings in your league leaderboard. You can even create a recurring contest so all you have to do each week is draft your team.
How is this different from a traditional season-long league?
Leagues are a great way to play our weekly contests with friends all season long. You draft a new team every day, so there’s no need to worry about bye weeks or injured players. It’s easy to take a week off, too, since we only collect entry fees when you enter a contest, and winners are paid out as soon as the contest ends, so there’s no need to wait until the end of the season to cash out! Create a league, invite some friends, and start playing today!
What duties and responsibilities does the commissioner have? What restrictions are there on non-commissioners?
The commissioner can remove league members and rename the league. Any member of the league can create and play contests or invite new members.
